Learning & Development

As the markets we operate in evolve, so do we. Every team from Finance to Tech to Sales leads a rich and varied workload and we all understand the concept of creating a winning team. If you’re like most of us, you have a thirst for knowledge and insight and you want to get the most out of your current role and your career. And if you’re ambitious, you’ll probably be interested in learning some stuff that’s valuable for your future too. We will nurture your career.

We use our dedicated Learning & Development facilities at our new HQ to offer a wide selection of opportunities for you to truly optimise your potential. We run a range of interactive soft skills workshops where you can sign up and learn with other colleagues in a Meet Up style fashion. Or if you prefer a more flexible approach, you can take advantage of over 1,000 self-learn modules in our Library. Most popular topics that our colleagues have been choosing to learn this year so far include Google Analytics, HTML, SEO, C# and JavaScript. We are obsessed with keeping ourselves up to date and ahead of the curve when it comes to self-development.

And it doesn't stop there. We also offer a range of Leadership & Management programmes along with personal 1:1 coaching sessions and a sponsorship programme.

Charity

We're passionate about giving something back. Our current charity partner for 2017 and 2018 is Cancer Research UK, as nominated and voted for by our colleagues. 

Cancer Research UK pioneers life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.  They are the only charity fighting over 200 cancers and they ensure donations are spent wisely, with at least 80p of every £1 donation being spent on helping to prevent cancer, diagnose it earlier, develop new treatments and optimise current treatments by personalising them and making them even more effective. While research developments now mean that 2 in 4 people currently survive cancer, Cancer Research UK’s vision is to accelerate progress even further and see 3 in 4 people surviving cancer in the next 20 years. Through our partnership with them, we strongly believe that together we will beat cancer sooner.

We get involved in a range of activities to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK, from sporting challenges like the London Marathon and abseiling off the side of the Francis Crick building, to smaller social fundraisers like quiz nights, cake sales and raffles. Many of us also donate regularly to a variety of charities through our Payroll Giving scheme. And, of course, there are plenty of other great causes we support from time to time - we love any excuse to get dressed up and have some fun, such as getting involved in Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children.

We support our colleagues in helping others, giving them a full day's leave every year to volunteer for any charity or non-profit organisation, as well as matching fundraising through donations and Payroll Giving.
